SPR Principals Co-Chair Annual ALI Environmental Law Conference in Washington, DC

On February 6-7, 2020, SPR principals Daniel Riesel and Pamela Esterman will co-chair the annual ALI CLE Environmental Law Conference in Washington, DC. Daniel Riesel will also lead a panel on CERCLA and RCRA, and Pamela Esterman will lead a panel on ethical issues for environmental practitioners. SPR principal Jeff Gracer will participate on the climate change panel. This the 50th Anniversary of the program, which is co-sponsored by ALI CLE and the Environmental Law Institute. SPR attorneys have chaired this conference continuously since its inception. The program will feature advanced-level presentations on recent developments in environmental law by senior public officials, distinguished law professors, seasoned private practitioners, and experienced public interest advocates. This year’s conference will include keynote addresses from EPA Assistant Administrator, Peter Wright, and Professor Richard Lazarus of Harvard Law School. The panel topics include:
