Meg Holden to Present on High-Performance Leases

On December 9, 2021, SPR associate Meg Holden will present on high-performance leases during a virtual program called “Unpacking High Performance Leases: Decarbonizing Commercial Office Spaces” hosted by the New York City Climate Action Alliance (the Alliance) and Columbia Law School’s Sabin Center for Climate Change Law. High performance leases are a solution for driving sustained decarbonization in commercial office spaces, helping to achieve corporate sustainability goals, comply with NYC Local Law 97 and advance the City’s broader emissions reduction goals. Meg and Alliance Executive Director Stephanie Margolis will walk through a model high performance lease and the provisions that differentiate it from a conventional lease. Their presentations will be followed by a panel of industry experts who are implementing energy-aligned provisions in practice. Register for the event here.
