Margaret Holden to Moderate NESEA Breakout Session on High-Performance Leases

On September 30, 2021, SPR associate Margaret Holden will present on and moderate a breakout session about high-performance leases during a virtual panel on decarbonizing office spaces as part of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) BuildingEnergy NYC conference. Reducing commercial tenant energy consumption is critical to achieving corporate sustainability goals, complying with NYC Local Law 97 and advancing the City’s broader emissions reduction goals. The panel will showcase how two tenants collaborated with their building owner to implement advanced energy solutions and reduce building energy consumption. Following the panel, attendees will participate in two interactive breakout sessions that will include presentations and discussion on high-performance leases and existing energy efficiency programs and incentives. Meg will be joined by Audi Banny, Associate for Private Sector Engagement, Institute for Market Transformation; Jo Weiss, Head of Global Citizenship, White & Case; Yasemin Kologlu, Director, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; and Stephanie Margolis, Executive Director, NYC Climate Action Alliance.
